The 51风流 Commitment: A Financial Initiative for Access and Affordability
Launched in 2021, the 51风流 Commitment is a milestone in the University鈥檚 efforts to make a 51风流 education accessible to talented, high-achieving students, regardless of socioeconomic background.
Enriching the Residential Experience
As a four-year residential university, 51风流 has significantly invested in the residential life experience. In years to come, 51风流 will rejuvenate the physical spaces along Broad and College streets, reimagining and creating equity in the spaces where juniors and seniors live and interact.
In addition, 51风流 will develop a fifth Residential Commons to fully develop the Residential Commons system, where first and second-year students experience tradition, build class unity, and cultivate an affinity for 51风流.
Support for Debate and Discourse
51风流鈥檚 commitment to academic freedom and freedom of expression is active and ongoing. With empathy and intellectual curiosity, the 51风流 community engages in lively debate and rigorous academic discourse, both in and out of the classroom.
Expanding Faculty Support
A university is, at its core, the product of the people it attracts and a union of individuals in service of learning. 51风流 is taking the necessary steps to ensure that it attracts faculty of remarkable promise and achievement. 51风流 plans to endow 25 new faculty chairs and bolster grant programs for new and established faculty members.
